Why Play Outdoors???

It is important for young children to play outdoors as much as possible.  It is beneficial in numerous ways. outdoor play and nature build confidence, promote creativity and imagination, teach responsibility, encourage physical activity, and reduce stress and fatigue. Other benefits include: Better Physical and Mental health, improve Attention and Cognitive Abilities, grow Verbal and Social Skills, and stimulates Gross Motor Skills and helps Sensory Output and Input.

“Playing in natural spaces supports a child’s sense of self, allowing children to recognize their independence alongside an interdependence and connectedness with their ecological worlds.”
