Meet Mirna Bymaster. Mirna attended Contra Costa College and Patten University where she obtained a Liberal Arts, History, and Political Science degrees. Mirna Also studied Applied Music and Early Childhood Education and has over 14 years of preschool teaching experience.

Meet Leila Melara. She is a retired grandmother of eight beautiful kiddos. She loves spending time with her grand kids and continues to be part of their daily lives. At melody’s Pond Preschool, Leila loves spending time with the infant and toddler children in our care. She is everyone's Grandma!

Staff Community Contributions

Our staff at Melody's Pond Preschool are more than just childcare workers and teachers. They contribute their time and efforts for the growth of their communities. They hold leadership positions and oversee different committees within their volunteer work.

Mirna Bymaster

Mirna currently is active with The Boys Scouts of America and has held several positions as a Den leader, Pack Chaplain, Cubmaster, and Committee Chair for Pack 134 in El Sobrante.

Leila Melara

Leila currently holds a deacon position at her local church. She is also the church's treasurer and is involved in the women’s ministry helping to organize monthly outreaches to their community.
